European Left Alliance launches in Porto in a bid to counter the far right surge across Europe

The European Left Alliance held its first congress in Porto on 13 and 14 June “to join forces against capitalism and the far-right”. The new seven-member strong coalition was first announced in the aftermath of the European Elections 2024.
